CBD 會上癮嗎？

在2017上，世界衛生組織和聯合國公共衛生署表示，CBD沒有讓人著迷，並寫道：“CBD沒有任何可能導致成癮的影響，生物多樣性公約對人類消費具有良好的耐受性和安全性。” 甚至大劑量的CBD已被發現是安全的。

吸毒成癮被定義為一種強迫性的需要使用某種物質，並且儘管有負面後果卻無法停止使用它。
導致依賴和成癮的物質會影響大腦的愉悅中心，通常使人們需要消耗某種物質以避免出現戒斷症狀。在許多情況下，人們可能還需要使用越來越多的藥物才能繼續體驗他們最初感受到的相同的欣快效果。
四氫大麻酚 (THC) 是大麻中的精神活性化合物，可產生與大麻相關的高濃度。服用後，THC 通過血液進入大腦，並附著在大腦區域的內源性大麻素受體上，這些受體與快樂、運動、記憶和思考等事物相關。
雖然大麻二酚也與人體的內源性大麻素系統相互作用，但CBD 不具有 THC 所具有的相同的令人陶醉的特性。研究表明它具有良好的安全性，並且在高達 600 毫克至 1,500 毫克的劑量下具有良好的耐受性。
與 THC（四氫大麻酚）不同，CBD 不會產生精神作用。雖然使用大麻會導致依賴，但目前的研究表明 CBD 不會上癮。
根據世界衛生組織的說法，在人類中，CBD 沒有表現出任何濫用或潛在依賴的影響迄今為止，沒有證據表明與使用純 CBD 相關的公共衛生相關問題。
2017 年發表在《藥物和酒精依賴雜誌》上的一項研究表明，CBD 與安慰劑藥丸具有相同的依賴潛力。
但是，重要的是要注意許多 CBD 產品可能含有一定水平的 THC。聯邦法律要求大麻衍生的 CBD 產品含有少於 0.3% 的 THC。然而，研究發現 70% 的 CBD 產品所含的四氫大麻酚含量明顯高於其標籤所顯示的含量。
雖然 CBD 不會上癮，但 THC 會有心理成癮。有證據表明，人們可以對 THC 產生耐受性，並可能出現戒斷症狀。使用高 THC 大麻菌株的人更有可能對 THC 產生身體依賴。
